Hello, My bird is injured again same bird as last time but this time she has some swelling behind her eye which has me worried about merecks disease but none of my other birds have had any issues last time around or this time and so I am just wondering could she just be injured or are my other birds just super birds? Thanks in advance

last injury her leg was weak for about a month and then she went back out with the flock and did just fine.

Do you have any pics? Sounds more like an injury to me.

I forgot to mention she is eating and drinking fine and no weight loss.

Is a vet visit for antibiotics an option?
Are you in the United States?

It the chicken being bullied or beaten up a lot? Her eyelids are very swollen. That can be a sign of respiratory diseases, a leaking air sac around the head, or a tumor. Her comb is black from pecking or injury. Can you separate her inside a dog crate or pen with food and water. You may need to find out what is going on by spending more time with them. Do you see any bubbles or foam, or pus in or around the eyes? Is there any sneezing or gasping, or a bad odor?

She’s inside I brought her in when she could no longer comfortably get up and down the ladder. Come to think of it I had a couple birds making some coughing noises I bought some of that vetRx at the tractor supply but then never heard them again. I can definitely give her some see if it helps!
