I have a female Border Collie that is about 5 1/2 month old, and yesterday she was not acting right. She was acting as if she didn't have as much energy and would urinate very frequently but only a little would come out.

Today she is acting worse. She did not want to come out of her crate this morning and did not want any of her dog food. (she didn't want to eat yesterday either) So we fried her an egg and she ate the whole thing but didn't want anything after that. She is drinking water fine, but still has no energy.

Could this be a urinary tract infection? If not, what could it be?!

Thanks,
Ashley

Hi, sorry about your doggy! It very well could be a UTI or bladder stones or a kidney problem. Or really just about anything. Try to collect a urine sample and get her to the vet. I am sure it's very painful and will need some meds to help clear it up. These are very common symptoms to several possible diagnosis. Good luck!

Thanks, I think I am taking her to the vet in the morning. She isn't acting any better.
