Sick chick inside?

How long do you keep a sick 4 week and 6 days old chick inside the house? The chick seems like it's getting better more active and chirp sounds getting better and doesn't want to be alone.

As said previously, I would give the inside chick a buddy so that it is not lonely and keep it in until it is completely better and ready to go back. How long has it been inside apart from the others? What was it sick with or what were the symptoms?

What exactly is the issue? If the sick chick isn't contagious, I'd definitely bring I another to keep her company, just as the others have mentioned above. Keep the sick bird inside until healed, depending on what it's suffering from.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC!!

I hope your chick gets better. If you can't bring a buddy in for it, I've raised an orphan chick before, and leaving the TV on louder than it was good for me but it helped keep him quiet too. After a couple of days, it quit crying, but seemed to like the TV on.
