Let srart off by saying we are new to raising chicks.

That being said we woke up to this sick Ameracana this morning and don't know what to Do? She seems to be bent over backwards, unable to stand, but seems strong enough to flap around on its side.

Any idea's?

Help us here---How old is she? If it is a few days old chick----the do die unexpectedly. It was fine yesterday? Is the others fine? It could have hurt its self?

She is an Ameracana and is 10 to 14 days old. The rest of the chicks seem to be fine. I don't know how she could have hurt herself, I have her and another chick in a crate by themselves and the other chick is younger and smaller. She was good last night at 11:30pm just before I went to bed, (I saw her eating, drinking, standing, walking-doing chick things) then I checked on them this morning a little after 6:00 am to find her the way she is currently. I started giving her Nutri-Drench from Tractor Supply Co. for vitamin supplements. Most people say it looks like Wry Neck but I'm not sure.

She still seems strong, I pick her up to try and feed, water, and vitamin's with drops. I can't get her to eat and the other drops are hard too!
