Sick chick, please help

Thank you. I'll see if my husband can get some after work.

Tractor supply and such has a small bottle for about 5 bucks. Its a thick liquid, with a medicine dropper cap. With little ones, I wipe my finger on the dropper, and transfer to the chick's beak. Then dip that same finger in some water to drip on the beak, and the chick will usually drink up. Then follow with more clear water.
Caution, the stuff is thick and smelly. Most chicks don't like it at first, and will shake their heads and sling it. That's why I learned to not try to drip it straight off the dropper! LOL
Also adding some to the water for all the chicks to drink is a fine idea.

I will do that and definitely watch that I don't get it on me. She finally pooped though it's not much but I'll add a pic.

My husband was wondering if she over heated because she's so much more fluffier then her brooder mates.

yes, that looks like dehydration. is your brooder too hot?

We had it in the laundry room when it wasn't too cold but the other night it got very cold so my husband turned on a small heater in the room and when I woke up to check on them the room was very hot. It made we sweat, I turned off the heater right away but not long after she got sick. All the others are okay with no signs of any sickness/weakness so I wasn't sure if that's what happened.

We have different ages together so some have feathered wings and getting some tail feathers and then we have ones like her. I'm not sure if she was under them and maybe she got the most heat or if it's just because she's so fluffy.

Keep a close eye on that peep! she's gonna need special attention, and lot's of fluids.

I love them all but this one is my favorite because when she was hatching we had laundry drying, the dryer sheet in the air made her smell like flowers for a whole week and she's the softest chick I've ever held, like holding a cloud in your hand. I'll be spending my whole day watching her and making sure she eats and drinks.

:D chicklets are adorable for sure.

And by the way, the ND isn't like blue-kote, it won't stain (too badly), its just kinda smelly and brown. Now blue-kote will leave you with blue/purple hands, fingers, splatter marks on your face, etc for days!
