Sick Chick?! With pic

After seeing a chick with Coccidiosis, I am now almost sure that is what it is. I switched the chicks to medicated feed and they will be on Corid for five days now.

I believe that if you feed them the medicated feed and give them corid that they somehow cancel each other out but I may not be correct. I think you are supposed to do one or the other. I will research where I read it really quick and get back to you.

Nvm. It is that chicks that have been given a coccidiosis vaccine should not be given medicated feed because it makes the vaccine ineffective. Sorry. Hope your chicky gets better!

Help!! The chick is worse today! She closes her eyes, tilts her head up, and opens her mouth to breathe. She is also still exhibiting all the previous symptoms. None of the other chicks are doing this. I’m afraid if she gets any worse, I may lose her any help is greatly appreciated!

Did you treat her with the Corid?
Can you upload a video of her to youtube then provide us a link?
