Hi all, we just lost a one week old Araucana chick last night. She seemed to be a bit more lethargic than the others, but no other obvious symptoms during the day. Another chick today however (a week old Barred Rock) was really lethargic and not eating, and seemed to cough every once in a while and had trouble breathing. We separated her from the flock and she vomited and has ongoing diarrhea, but is less lethargic and is now eating. We are not sure how to check for a fever, but she does feel warmer than the other chicks do. We are really concerned about losing her and the rest of the young flock (they all seem to have runnier than normal poo) and were wondering if anyone had any advice on how to help our little chick and prevent any more deaths. Also they were vaccinated for Mareks and Coccidiosis. Thank you all!
