So my black game chick has been acting different. She is sitting in some sort of "penguin" like stance. I don't know what it is. She is about 2 1/2 months old

I am sorry that your hen is unwell and that you have not received an answer to your posts until now.

I am definitely not an expert when it comes to what ails chickens but I do know that those who are more experienced will probably need more information before being able to help with a possible diagnosis.

For example:

Does she seem or feel lighter or thinner than the rest of your flock?
What is her behavior, besides the “penguin” stance.
Are other members of the flock exhibiting the same symptoms?
Anything that you know of that may have lead up to the symptom?
What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all?
How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc
What is her current housing [accommodation]? Is she outside in a coop and run?
Anything else that does not seem normal for her.


Are you able to post pictures of her and/or a video?

She feels way better than she did before so she's been doing fine so far. I think she will pull through but thanks for asking
