Sick chick

My 1 1/2 week old BA seems sick. She stands under the light, isn’t eating or drinking, seems lethargic. This is my first experience with a sick chick. The other are all vivacious and lively, and I don’t want them getting whatever she has. What should I do to help her? Her bum looks clean and I lowered the light so the brooder is a bit warmer.

You could try dipping her beak into the water to get her to drink and have some crushed food you can also give her sugar water to give her energy and a scrambled egg too even if it seems like cannabbleism but it helps

She won’t touch the egg. I tried dipping her beak in sugar water a few times. She’s warm under the lamp. We will see I guess. She’s my only BA.....

A little extra heat and some sugar water and she has bounced right back. Eating, drinking and running around again.
