What's the temperature where you are???

:weeWeather forecasters are all a twitter with the BIG storm coming. Running back and forth across the map, this here, that there, coming together here, maybe. John Q Public in a panic, buying up salt, don't forget the snow shovel and add it to all the ones you picked up over the previous yrs. AHH! I forgot to get milk and bread! Lemmings to the sea. The only thing I have to get is Bird Seed.
I need to go to two grocery stores today for work. I am a little worried about the level of crazy I will encounter. It was rough already on Tuesday when I went to two others, I fear today will give me 2020 flashbacks.

We have some extreme cold coming tomorrow. Wind chills alone can get down to the negative 30°F to 45°F range.

Currently 19°F while feeling like 5°F with 52% humidity and a 4°F dew point with WSW winds at 13mph.

There is some sun this morning with increasing clouds this afternoon and a high of 26°F with W winds of 10-20mph.

6C (what a surprise!) feels like 0 (43 / 32F), wind 13mph gusting up to low 20s, 93% humidity, mostly clear blue skies. That strange yellow light thing has appeared in the sky again.

Hmmm yes I wonder what it is???

Unless I get 40cm it’s business as usual. Ummmm or lots of freezing rain that brings down 1000s of trees.

In Nov might get the crazies but now it more or less ‘you have got to be kidding - more snow?’

Only 116 days until May two-four weekend woohoo!

After six weeks of polar vortex -20 to -35C we finally got a chinook (warm westerly winds ) for the last two weeks. This resulted in snow melting temperatures for several days, and minus single digits. Now we are going to have a bit more arctic air but nothing colder than -15 C for a few days and then we warm up again. However this is happening because the cold is moving east over the prairie provinces and is going to spill into Ontario et al and the Eastern US. Cue the wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth!

Snow squall weather here in this case. Though if we get a good hard -30 freeze the lakes will freeze up and no more snow squalls!

The lakes work like oceans to moderate the temps here; Until they freeze over. Boohoo!
