I have a silkie chick I got from tractor supply Monday and I noticed today it’s been standing in one spot head down. It doesn’t run when I pick it up but it does get lively and wants back on the ground. It doesn’t lay down either.

Can you post some photos of the chick, it's poop and your brooder set-up?
Is this the only chick you have?
What's the temperature in your brooder?
Can the chick eat/drink on it's own -what are you feeding?

Try to get your chick hydrated first - electrolytes, sugar water or plain water.
Do you have Poultry Nutri-Drench? I would give her 1-2 drops direct dose to see if that perks her up.

Look forward to your photos and more information.

I think it would be best to get the chick started on corid as well as the others if you have any. Continue with electrolytes or other vitamins/minerals WITHOUT containing thiamine.

It’s in a mixed flock of one I hatched from my own chickens, ducks, geese and geauies (or however you spell it). I have the party flock brooder thing that tractor supply sells. And they are in my garage. I have moved the bigger ducks and geese to their own box because they are huge and walk all over the babies. I feed them Purina all flock rasier crumbles. I have been giving them the save a chick probiotic in their water.

From experience, chicks from Tractor Supply arr often sick. Also, I’ve helped raise Silkies and they aren't very lively chicks. Keep him hydrated and make sure he is eating a pooping.
Every spring for about 4 years I get chicks from tractor supply and have never had any issues. I got 4 silkies and the other 3 are running around and this one is just standing there. It’s mates will bump into it and it just stands there like nothing has happened.
