Sick Chick

Hi everyone,
One of my new chicks (approx 7 days old) started making a hiccup-like action yesterday afternoon. I thought she was choking at first but it has persisted through this morning. She is becoming very weak. Any ideas on what it could be? Each time she "hiccups" it moves her whole body.

Thank you. I posted there too to cover my bases. I just checked on her. She is still alive but seems weaker. I managed to get a little scrambled egg in her and some water. Maybe that will give her some energy.

I would try some sugar water or honey.

I started mine on vitamins and electrolytes in thier water. You can find it at feed store. If you have some gatorade that will do till you get to town. Sugar water help also but i've been told it can cause pasty butt if given over a couple of days.
