I'm soo sorry you had to go through this. I had my first chick death too - sounds very similar. Another started showing similar symptoms, so I put it in a really warm brooder box of its own. I also made sure it got plenty to drink. It has turned around for now, but the first one didn't.

You did all that you could; sometimes there is just nothing we can do and these things happen despite our best efforts.
