I found one of my 3 week old cornish x laying on its side panting hard,this is my second batch of 12 and lost one in the first batch with the same symptoms,could I have done anything to treat this or is it a common thing,they are on 12/12 food right now,can I do anything to prevent this from happening or is it a common thing for the cornish?,,thanks

It is a common thing .. May I ask where you bought them from ?? I purchase my 25 form Ideal and have 4 now do this... I think its the Flip.. That folks are always talking about... Im home most of the evening and so I have not really strictly followed the 12 on 12 off .. More like 7 on then 3 off then 5 on then 8 off... So far mine are growing slower but I havent had many losses...
