sick chick?

I have 8 chicks, almost three weeks old of six different breeds. They've more than tripled in size since I got them but I'm worried about one. She's either the speckled sussex or the silver cuckoo maran, I'm not sure which yet. Her feathers are coming in like the others but she's much smaller than them. She's very slow moving and rests a lot. I sometimes isolate her because the big ones are starting to fly and run around like hooligans, and she has trouble finding a place to hide. She got pasted up when she was about a week old but I cleaned her and it didn't happen again. Please tell me what I should do.

It sounds like you are doing all the right things. Sometimes, like us, chickens aren`t always born with the full strong and robust package. I wonder if she might need a little vitamin boost with some poly-vi-sol? I have not used vits. myself with my chickens but it sounds like others do with success. I hope she perks up...sounds like she is getting good care and lots of love.
