Sick chicken and don't know what to do???

I have a chicken that is 2 1/2 years old. She has had loose stools for 3 days now . She can barely walk and appears as if she has an egg stuck in her. She will take water when offered and will eat veggies from me. She doesn't appear to be in pain, but won't walk. When I try to get her up she stands straight up as if she's bearing down. Has anyone ever had this happen and what do I need to do??

I havent had experience with egg bound chickens, but I would do a search on it here on the forum. There should be quite a few threads on it.

If she has a stuck egg, I think what people do is take the hen and soak her bottom in nice warm water, it relaxes the muscles.

Giving her some bread soaked in olive oil may also help.

Check between her legs gentley and see if you can feel an egg. Check her vent and see if you can see an egg. If there is an egg once it gets to where you can see a bit of it you may have to gently break it and help her expell it.
