Sick chicken? eyes closed but seems fine

we have a 10 week old bantam chicken who keeps closing its eyes and standing still.

It is eating and drinking and walks around fine once we go up to it. However, this morning it was walking around with its eyes closed. It's only recently that she has started to do this and before she was very healthy

Has anyone experienced this before. is she ill?

Birds a very good at acting healthy it helps them survive in the wild. When you go up to her shes probably acting normal thinking "see I'm healthy don't eat me I'm no weaker than everyone else" *struts*

I say she is sick unless you just brought her home, she could be exhausted. Not sure what it could be but I had a sneezing pullet a few days ago and a BYC member suggested I start giving her grapefruit seed extract in her water as it has natural anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-biotic properties. After two days of drinking is shes completely better

You get it at health food shops... don't be tested to taste it like I was though... worst experience ever.........
