Hi!
I've had my sick girl inside for a little over a week now. I didn't think she was going to make it. But she was gasping, wheezing and gaping, not eating or drinking and looking really, really bad...she also had roundworms. So, after a deworming and a week's worth of antibiotic injections of Tylan, she is now acting like a regular chicken! She is eating, drinking and scratching around the floor looking good.
My question is...she is still a tad rattly when she breathes every so often (the rest of the girls have respiratory things that come and go that I treat with vetrx and it helps)- I gave her the last dose of antibiotic today. I feel bad for her because she isn't out with the others. Do I still keep her in another day or so? or put her out with everyone else? It is around 40-45 during the day and around 25-30 at night...I'm worried about it coming back.....
Thoughts?
