now I don't know what to do with her".. (First time chicken owners.)
SHE AND HER 5sisters came to us as sixteen wk old pullets not in great shape. She has a chipped beak and another has a broken wing. They are eight mos. old and wonderful brand new part of our lives. This is all new to us so we don't really know what we're doing. Henrietta started hanging out by herself with her head and her tail down. We never had one looking so lethargic so we brought her in for the night.We have an early winter here in the North East so we couldn't leave her out in the20 degree weather....She wouldn't eat or drink that night ( 2 nights ago )next day we didn't do much for her and last night she began to eat again.Fed her mashed pellets and she ate like "no tomorrow"
but she still won't drink I have to use an eye dropper to get any water in her.
Today she ate good but not drinking still...... getting better ... why???? How long do we keep her in.?? It's cold out there.......!!
