Hello chicken owners,
I have a 1.5 year old Black Copper Marron. I noticed she was sneezing and had a runny nose about a week and half ago. I scheduled a vet visit and the vet and he said she most likely had an upper respiratory infection. He sent us on our way with oral meds to take for 14 days 2x daily.
She is almost on her second week.... She was eating normal and acting normal until yesterday. I noticed her laying down a lot and not very interested in anything. I also noticed besides her lack of activity .... Her comb has flopped over and is dark purple at the tips.
I gave her a soak bath ... Thinking it might be egg bound and also have fed her yogurt.
I am at a loss of what this turn is. Any help would be great.
