sick chicken HELP!!

does the disease stay on the ground aswell or just on the chickens
A lot depends on what you are dealing with, so getting testing would be a good idea.
Generally - yes. The disease would be on the ground, in dust/dander, feathers, your shoes/clothes and equipment as well as the birds. Each disease has a timeline of how long it can last in the environment once the birds are removed. Some for a few days on up to months. Hopefully you will find some helpful information in the links below.

Hi been thinking if your
so a few days ago I bought an Orpington chicken, over the days she hasn't been eating much, just a few pecks here and there but wasn't ever interested in the chicken food (she does drink though). I also kept noticing her sneezing once in a while. today she is limping badly yet she had no cuts and her leg looks fine. the most worrisome part is her breathing, its like she has bubbles in her lung ( idk how to explain) like every time she inhales you can hear small bubbly pops. anyone know what it might be and is it contagious?

Hi been thinking if she is any better.????

Hi so glad your Mum has helped her. if she has drank on her own there is hope. Don"t
#mind me saying, try her with scrambled egg + raw liver. Scramble the egg and if you
have fresh liver, grind a small bit, (about tablespoon,) and mix it with egg. Then try her
with it. Even if she has a little bit, as it done my 2 a world of good. And did you try
dabbing a little VICK or a touch of Ecuylyptas on each nostril. I was trying everything
with mine, it was hard for 2 weeks, but got there in the end. Fingers crossed she will
make it. I thought i would lose our Tootsie for sure, but chickens are little fighters.

thx for the info, sadly she has passed away last night

Sorry for your loss. You can get poultry vitamins at the feed store, and if I were you, i'd get some and put them in your flock's water for ten days or so. Don't forget to deworm everyone, too, with a broad spectrum dewormer.
