Sick chicken...help!

I have one of my girls who is struggling to breath. I have her separated but her breathing is very labored. She raises her head in the air and struggles to get air every breath. Is there a particular antibiotic I can give her if it is a respiratory infection and can I get it without a vet?

Terramycin or Duramycin are antibiotics available at most feed stores. They treat respiratory infections. Another possibility is gapeworm. When chickens have this, they will stretch their neck out and open their beaks to inhale. This can be treated with Fenbenzadole, a dewormer.
