Looking for help diagnosing a 20 week old easter egger bantam pullet.

Her symptoms are:
One drooping wing
walking a *little* off like wobbling around.
isolating her self from the flock
wont eat and haven't seen her drink all day - but will peck the ground
lethargic
her tail is down but she lifts it up when she walks.
every so often she will hold her foot under her for a second like its stiff and then will put it back down.
she itches her face semi frequently

She does not have from what i can see any diarrhea- no messy bum-. She is still preening if that's of any importance. She is breathing fine and isn't sneezing or wheezing. her comb is not pale. I have checked the other chickens i have over for lice and mites and nothing, everyone else is acting fine. This clutch is not laying so i don't think it is an egg bound issue.

The issue is I cannot catch her, she hasn't been handled much and i do not want to stress her out. I will try to isolate her tomorrow but would like a plan of attack for meds or ailments. I have an arsenal on hand and prepared to almost everything..

I haven't seen her poop so i couldn't tell you what it looks like. I've been going out throughout the day and following her around and watching and no poops for me.

Do you know if she could have been injured by a pullet or cockerel, or if she could be kept from getting enough food and water? Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? I would continue to observe her, and think about starting some human vitamins—E 400 IU and 1/4 tablet of human B complex daily.

could have been injured. This clutch of babies gets picked on by my older hens and they also try to roost in a tall tree and have to get shooed out every night so she may have done something then. not vaccinated for mareks. I will catch her tonight and give her the vitamins. i have b12 and vitamin e on hand. no roosters. I have two separate feeders so that the babies aren't kept from the food and since she's been acting this way i have gone around and tossed food out so they all can eat with out fighting. this didn't entice her to eat either.

My first thought is parasites. They claim so many young chickens. She needs a fecal done to find out what she has so you can combat it. It could be coccidia, mites, tape worm, or any other kind of intestinal worm. To treat everything you need at least three different dewormers, hence the reason for a fecal.

i have been thinking this too... I will separate her and try to get some of her poop. ive been following her around through out the day and havent seen her poop and they all free range.

If you can catch her you can take her in and they can get a sample from her, or at least should be able to. Call to be sure. There isn’t always time to wait when they start showing symptoms like this. All your birds will need to be treated.
