Sick Chicken

Well, she has some more discharge on her butt feathers. I'll give her another bath and apply some Lamosille this morning.

I gave her a bath in vinegar water and dosed her up. I didn't feel a lump. But, she's really struggling. It doesn't look good.

Other than the discharge how can I tell? BTW, how far do you live from Shrewsbury?

I would get some mite powder and give her a light puff all over. If she's not egg bound she might have a infection in her vent area or mites x

She's got all her butt feathers and I'm giving her probiotics and bathing and treating her topically with Lamoille. It probably wouldn't hurt to dust her for mites, would it?

I spent the summer and fall of 1976 in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.

I don't think it would hurt her to use powder on her.
Is she eating a drinking well?
Shrewsbury has changed alot since then. It used to be lovely now it's all shopping arcades and charity shops lol x

I lived for a while in the Telford Estate, then in an old, old house on the street just off Victoria Park in the oldest part of town. Then, I lived in a row house just west of the prison. I loved Shrewsbury. Sadly, I haven't been back in 30 years.
