Hey everyone. I think I have a sick girl. I went out to the coop this morning to do my normal inspection water change and coop check. One of my girls is very lethargic. she is panting and when I picked her up and checked her out water came out of her mouth. It smells like dead fish. She is drinking water with electrolytes but I haven't noticed her eating. I have her separated and I'm trying to make her a comfortable as I can. She doesn't seem to have any discharge from her eyes or beak. There's nothing in her mouth that I can see. Her vent looks normal. She does have very liquidity poop that has a different smell. Not bloody more of a white milky. Help. I don't want to loose her or any other girls from my flock!! Thank you for your help!!

Sour crop? Feel her crop, is it mushy, hard, full, empty? Same with her belly. Does her breath smell funky? I'm not experienced with crop issues, but I'm sure someone will come along to help and already having answers to these questions might get you help faster.

It's mushy. Yes it smells like fish. And when I push on it water comes out of her mouth. She's only 6 months old. I'm not sure if she has started laying. But one of my ladies hasn't laid any eggs in a few days. It's either her, my cuckoo maran, or my welsummer. So I can't really use that to help diagnose her. She free ranged yesterday evening and seemed fine but this morning this started.
