All cooped up in northern Alabama
I went out to the coop and all my babies came and greeted me as usual except for one. I went in crunch time to pick her up and she didn’t even flinch. I’m holding her now trying to keep her warm I think she’s asleep which is great but I don’t know what’s wrong with her and I’m not sure what to do. Help!

She had normal poop

I am not sure what that could be. I would say fowl pox, since she is lethargic with that random black spot, but a bad case of fowl pox should have more spots. Has she had any loss of appetite or weight loss? Is your chicken at all an old age?

She is not even a year old. I have not seen any more spots. She is about the same weight and she was eating well yesterday. She is laying here next to me sleeping though she has had diarrhea twice while sleeping. Her comb is not usually that dark and dry looking. And her legs look pale
