Sick chicken

I have 4 day old chickens and 1 of them I thought has pasty butt. I cleaned her really well and while doing so a piece came off so did a bunch of pink fluid come out. Now her underside looks soft and gooey
All my other chick are running and growing and she does not seem to be the same.

Are you sure that it wasn’t her umbilicus (navel?) Try to locate her vent, and compare with the others little vents. Either way, clean it with alcohol or betadine, or vetericyn if you have it.

If you can get a picture of your chick’s vent, it might help if it is clear enough.

Her looks like different t than others like it is popped out. She same age as all my others and she has trouble with keeping her eyes open also

It could be a prolapsed vent, but it would be nice to see a clear picture. Vents are hard to photograph well in chicks. Is there any swelling?

If the umbilicus is the swollen part, it might be infected. Is the belly swollen as well? I would dab on iodine to help dry it out. Did you hatch the chick or buy it from a hatchery ?
