sick chicken

I have a white leghorn that has been laying about 3 weeks. Today i went to feed them and she has what looks to be her intestines hanging out her bottom end with blood all over it. Does anyone have any suggestions or cures on what may have caused this?

I don't personally know what to do...but use the search function near the top of the page and search for prolapsed vent. I bet you'll find lots of info quickly.

Prolapsed vent is what it sounds like. I would cull her.

Thanks for all the info and i did find some useful topics under prolasped vent. She doesn't seem to be sick from it because she is still eating and drinking well but i wonder if in time it will heal up and go away? Maybe if it don't then i will cull it. Also i was wondering if it will stop her from producing chicks because i have 2 roosters in with them?
