She died the next morning making me wish I had not bathed her or put my finger up her. Maybe I caused her to die I just hate it so badly losing any of them Thank you all who tried to help me.

She was already in bad shape sweetie, you didn't do anything wrong. It does sound like she had a reproductive problem, when a hen is having troubles like that sometimes they can get better for a while, other times they just can't make it.

Sorry for your loss. It can make you feel bad that she died after you tried to help her, but she was so sick that she probably was going to die anyway. She may have enjoyed your handling her near the end.

Thank you all... I wish I had stayed up and held her now. It's so hard for me to lose them. With all the other things they can get, I just dont understand why reproductive problems have to be a thing. And then there is this crazy heat. Makes me want to install an air conditioner in the coop lol.
