I don’t know what is wrong with my chicken. This morning I realized that she did not want to get out of her nest I came back an hour later and she was still in nest with eyes closed. I called vet but there isn’t one in who works with chickens until tomorrow. I realized she hadn’t laid an egg in two days so I thought she might be egg bound so I soaked her in a warm bath with epsom salt and beak fed her calcium. I’ve soaked her three times today but she is just laying down with eyes closed. I drop fed her water with sugar but she threw up. I don’t know if she’ll make it until tomorrow. Anything else I can do?

How is she today? How old is she? Has she laid an egg yet? If she hasn't, then she's most likely egg bound.

Normally with sour crop, birds upchuck or "vomit" water or as it's called "crop milk" liquids, their crops don't empty properly or on time. Think of it as reflux for humans, that's the best way I like to describe it as. They also have a high risk of aspirating their crop milk/liquid.

She passed away last night. I tried all I knew to do. I think she was egg bound and it was just too late.
