My poor Daisy has been sick for a few months. She was moving slow, gasping for breaths ... she still ate and would walk around the yard... but we've known she wasn't well.... Last week when I got home from work I found her dead on the patio - she was only 1 year old Wynott. We had another chicken die about a month prior - she was healthy as can be... came out of the coope in the morning and died on the grass... we buried her right away. I regret not opening her up.
When Daisy died I openned her up. Attached is a picture of what I found.
This does not look like normal chicken entrails - everything was yellow and turned to mush. It had the texture of liver.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Is this cancer?
I'm concerned for the rest of my flock....
