sick chickens and lysol dissinfectant spray

Ok so my chickens may have mg and I was wondering, I have chicks that need to go outside. If I use the lysol dissinfectant spray on an area the chickens have been, will it work? Will it dissinfect that area? Or do I have to worry about my chicks getting mg?

Most likely your chicks will eventually get MG as long as the infected birds are still present, lysol or no lysol.

The birds are not going to be near them. They will be in the garage in a little coop, where as the big chickens are in back

The disease can be carried on your clothing, shoes, hands etc...are you planning on changing your clothes and washing up after being around the infected birds prior to taking care of the chicks? Chicks may not survive a case of MG mild or severe strains. Remember biosecurity.
