Sick chickens

Actually, today when I went out, she was crunched down again and she’s got poop all over her butt like runny poops. And my dog keeps trying to attack her or lay her down and not let her get up. She does not do that to any of my other chickens. She loves them all she gives them kisses and stand over them, but the one that sick she keeps trying to keep away from everybody. Think I should just have her put down.
I’m sorry about the turn of events for this chicken. Consider the questions asked by the educators on your thread and if she passes, I urge you to get a necropsy performed.

My first go-to is adding Safeguard Aquasol to the water. 5 days on, 5 day break, 5 days on again.

And make sure they're all drinking. One of my chickens was stumbling, turns out she wasn't drinking at all. I brought her a little bowl and she drank a ton while I was holding it under her beak.

Why are you giving Aquasol 5 on, 5 off, 5 on?
The instructions are to give for 5 Consecutive days, no repeat.
Aquasol when given according to the directions will treat Adult Stage Roundworms and Adult Stage Cecal Worms.

For the longest time I've done that schedule whenever treating a pet with fenbendazole. The theory behind it is to do the treatment, and in case it didn't kill all the parasites, knock them out with another treatment shortly after. I also read that it takes 100x recommended amount to overdose, so I usually do 1.5x dosage.

But I'm open to changing the way I do that if you've had success with just one treatment.

If it works for you, I say go for it.

I usually just follow the instructions for the product.
