sick chicks

I received a shipment of ring neck peasant chicks the other day, they did well for a couple of days but then started shaking and acting weird with several dying a short time later.
had them in a large box that a recliner came in, they had plenty of food and water.
any ideas about what this is? they are in the same area as some chickens but did not have any contact with them
