Sick duck

Hey my 2 year old duck is gasping for breath. No other ducks are sick. I have rubbed her throat and don't feel anything. She hasn't eaten and I forced some water down her but could hear it gurgling. Does anybody have any suggestions before I put her down?
Was she gurgling before you gave her water or after? Are you sure she is gasping for breath and not panting? I ask because an egg bound duck will sometimes pant.

There are few things that could cause gasping for breath:
Gasping for breath is also sometimes part of the dying process, so it would be helpful to see a video of your duck.

Most respiratory infections can be treated with antibiotics.

Gapeworms can be treated with Safeguard (fenbendazole) or Valbazen (albendazole).

Ascites can be relieved by draining the fluid, but fluid will return, so it's only a temporary fix.

If you can, please take a video, upload to YouTube or Vimeo, then copy/paste the link here.

If she is egg bound would i be able to feel it? That was my first thought but I palpitated her around the cloaca and didn't feel anything. If she is egg bound she will need to be put down. I don't want her to suffer but she is a good duck and I don't want to be too hasty.

Egg binding is treatable. Please try to post the video again.
