Thanks. I'm not very good at explaining this stuff. The goat, cow and horse dose is only 5 mg/kgI think there might be a slight disconnect. Even though it gives you dosage for goats, it doesn’t evenly translate to the ducks weight. Definitely use the 0.15mL per pound. Ducks require a lot of medication per pound. For example my ducks can have the same amount of amoxicillin a day as I can.
Goats
100 pounds / 2.2 (converts to kg) x 5 (mg/kg) / 100 (mg/ml) = 2.27 ml per 100 pounds round up to 2.3 ml).
Poultry
1 pound / 2.2 (converts to kg) x 30 (mg/kg) / 100 (mg/ml) = 0.136 ml per pound (round up to 0.15 ml).
