Did the hatchery resend ducklings? Of the ones you lost?

the first shipment we only lost one they sent a replacement and we also purchased two more. Does all died within probably two or three hours of getting to the house

Yes he looked wet which doesn't make any sense considering the are fed from a waterer that is small enough for quail. All the other ducklings were bone-dry I don't understand why he looked wet.

Strange. Although ducklings need water deep enough to dunk heads. Chick starter should be for Ducklings too if you can find that it's better because Ducklings require different nutrients.
It looked thin too so maybe it has a real genetic issue with its organs?

Are you feeding chick starter? Or duckling starter? If chick starter then your duckling need extra niacin because chick starter does not have what they need. So we supplement

I just went and bought liquid vitamin B complex with niacin in it

Great you’ll need to give this little one straight tiny drop in her her bill make sure she swallows then drop again she needs 1 ml a day. You can also use a syringe and give it orally but you Need to know how so she doesn’t aspirate,the rest can have it over their feed or a treat. How this little one doing?

If you decide to use the small 1 ml syringe I’d give half ml at a time since their crop isn’t so large at this age.
