Poor guy.

Is there any chance you'd be able to take him to a vet? Since he is getting on the older side, he may have some problems that tend to increase with age, for example, heart disease, renal disease. Or something like osteosarcoma, or osteomyelitis.

Is there any chance he may have eaten some sort of metallic object?

Hi there to all who had suggestions for me regarding my duck. Just to update you, my duck passed away today. We tried the best we could to help him but to no avail. Thank you for all your help.
