Hey haven't posted in a while but I have a older male duck who has suddenly within the past 48 hours has had most of his feathers plucked by the base of his neck. He also looks pretty ruffled and has clearing discharge from his nose. Now I'm not sure if my other males are picking on him or if a predator got to him. Our run is predator proof so im not sure how something could have gotten to him. He looks pretty rough any advice would be appreciated. We have him isolated inside now resting

I'm not seeing a pic. Could it be the others are being aggressive and dominating him? My males do tend to beat up on one another to be top duck and the lower duck always looks a bit rough.

It is very possible. I just don't know what to do to help him in his current state

He would definitely need to be separated until he gets to feeling better. Are the ducklings housed with chickens by chance? Is he only housed with ducks his own age and size? My ducklings pulled feathers, but that looks pretty rough. You might get more suggestions if you post this in the duck forum.

Can you take a picture isn't in the red light? It would be better to guage his condition and to see the nasal discharge.
