Sick duckling- seizure and red, irritated eyes

She made it through the night! We are not out of the woods yet, her eyes look better but not great and I worry still about a deficiency because of the seizure and that she shakes.

I’m determined today to get her the b vitamins however I can get them human or animal I will call around to everywhere. And get her into vet if no one has the antibiotic drops you guys have mentioned.

Let’s hope she makes a full recovery! I’ll keep you all posted - thanks heaps for the support and advice!

I found some human b vitamin complex today with only one other ingredient apart from the b vitamins which is folic acid. I hope that is okay. unfortunately its in tablet form but I crushed some up and made a paste and put it with some mashed strawberries and watermelon and she ate a bit of it. Its lower dosages than what everyone else is giving so I’m planning to crush two tablets. Again hope that is ok. She is really shaking. How long before I should start to see some improvement?

Here is the ingredients and the amounts of each vitamin

Maybe I should do two tablets twice a day? Because I can’t be sure she gets the whole thing either when it’s mixed in with food cause sometimes she drops food in the water and it sinks or she gets wood shavings on it etc.

Miss Lydia is a huge help with her duck knowledge. I’m wondering if this little one might have foamy eye. The white, bubble-like spot in the corner seems pretty tell-tale.
Doesn't really look like foamy eye that I have seen which actually has foam in the corner.
But not saying it couldn't be.

@Tegan26 go for it on the vitamins 2 would be good. Does she like smashed peas? chopped up tomatoes just what ever you can get her to eat to get this into her.

Hi, this is the second time this week someone from Australia is having a hard time finding B-complex so I've been doing some research and found a couple of things that can be bought in Australia.

This is the first and it seems a bit stronger and has a few more things in it than what we use in the USA so I'd like @casportpony to take a look and see if it is safe to use:

And then there is this one that seems a bit less strong than ours does:
