I wouldn't separate her from the other duckling, they would be too lonely. Chicks are really bad for pecking especially at ducklings well even at each other too.We have 4 sex links that are the same age. The big one is literally twice the size of his sibling.
Pecking, that's what we were thinking at first but my wife was really starting to worry. She didn't want the rest if the flock getting something if she had it. I will get some vitamins for them and separate her from the rest when they are inside. Does that sound like a good idea?
Thank you all for great ideas.
I also want to apologize for making this sound like it could be a crested problem, alot of ducklings can have nutritional needs more so than the other ducklings in the same brooder with them, Know idea why this happens one will have leg issues which usually is a Dif in niacin and sometimes they can also have neurological issue which can be from niacin dif or from being crested. But I really think we have figured out what is going on here. Once a member posted they put their ducklings in with some of their chickens and the chickens who I believe were young too pecked them so badly that some of them died. Please keep us updated on how they are. and forgot to say
