We have two Cayuga females limping. The obvious problem seemed to be bumblefoot, but then we realized that's their good foot! The one they don't walk on is the left one. They both seem to not be able to use their left leg. Legs are not painful to the touch as far as we can tell.
Today a 3rd duck, Khaki, was staying on her own by the pond and not with the flock. By evening one eye appears coated white gunk/discharge when closed and she's weak, having a tough time breathing. Perhaps respiratory related. I read some suggestions for Oxytet.
I have the two Cayugas in one pen, resting and have access to a small pool I clean daily. And the Kaki I have in her own pen.
Not only am I concerned with these 3, but we've had ducks for 4 years without issues, and I'm afraid something bigger is going on. The only difference recently is they free range, and have access to a newly built pond.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
