Sick ducks

I have had 2 ducks die in the past month, both with similar symptoms. They are now 8 week old welsh harlequins. One died this afternoon and the other about 2 weeks ago. Both ducks became lethargic, started hanging behind the rest of the flock, and would go off alone. However both were eating and drinking right up until they passed. I also haven't been able to find any visible marks or lesions. Currently, the remaining 8 ducks seem fine. Also, they are in a 20x20 enclosure.

Does anybody know what could be going on?

Lack of something?....Possibly selenium...

What do you feed?....Ducks are usually pretty hardy and easy too keep..

They're getting an unmediated chick starter with 18% protein. I'm also supplementing with niacin

why don't you feed them duck starter? and by 8 weeks they should be eating duck grower already. that wouldn't kill them though

Possibly picked up metals or some nails that cant pass through the gizzard...

I don't live in an area with easy access to duck starter.

I'll have to check there pen for debris. I haven't seen any metal, by I'll go look more closely.
