I do not know if one way is better or not but I would assume that it's less stressful to give it by mouth and may hurt a little bit less.

Still gurgling, but not quite as much maybe? She's been very active though at least. I've been tubing her twice a day when I do get injections too.

I've never heard that, but it can be given orally.

Is it possible that she could have aspirated some food from the tubing into her lungs and caused this? I just would have thought she'd be showing some signs of recovery by now. I know that I've been tubing her correctly, but sometimes when we let her go she flings her head and you can see some food on her beak.
I'm pretty positive I'm not overfeeding her. Either way I've stopped tubing her for now.
What do you think?

She passed away this morning. I never would have thought this would be fatal.
Are my other birds likely to get whatever this was too?
