Sick goose

Friend has a young goose that has started acting slow, off balance and holding his head down. He has a different look in breast area too. He eats,drinks, and swims ok. Only bird doctor in town has emergency appointments a week out! Any ideas on what is going on with goose?

I have no clue but those that may know are going to ask for pictures? Age? What's being fed? Are there others? How long has it been this way? Where are you all located?

I'm new to geese but what type of food is he eating? If he's low in niacin there will neurological issues. Brewers yeast is a great source. It can be added to feed or water. @Miss Lydia might have more insight. Also there are threads that tell how much is needed.

Is there any possibility that your goose could have eaten something that he shouldn't have?

@duckcrazy how old is the goose and what feed is the goose being fed? could be nutritional or it maybe a toxin but we need more info please.
