I have a brown Chinese goose that was just hatched this year. I noticed that she looked thinner, so I wormed her with Ivermectin on Monday. Still very thin, sits with head back a lot of the time. Not much interest in eating, although drinking. No signs of any nasal discharge, no sign of diarrhea on feathers; but did notice white thin poop. Read that panacur is also good for geese, so just wormed her with that today.
But I'm also wondering if maybe coccidia - does anyone know if I can use Corid for treating geese?

I put her in the yard today and she immediately ate some grass (although there is grass in the area where she normally is) but it wasn't long that she was sitting with her head tucked under again. I wormed her with panacur today - read that it will get the nematodes. Talked to the vet about using Corid and she "thinks" that it is okay. I thought about using terramycin but don't have any and was working all day so couldn't get to the feed store for it.
I don't think she needs an antibiotic but things aren't looking good here.
Anyone ever use SMZ for poultry?
