Sick gosling

Well, this afternoon one of my 10 day old Sebastopol goslings suddenly seemed ill. basically just sitting and doing nothing. We were having a party and didn't realize he was not well. By the time we brought the goslings in to their basket for the night it was too late.

I realize there are all apparently all sorts of things that goslings die of, but is there anything that he would suddenly die from without really any warning? It's possible this was the gosling who was kind of weak when they arrived, but they all perked up and were apparently healthy and active until today.

The only thing I can think of that we did different is that we began putting them out in the "duck tractor" the last couple-three days since the weather has been in the high 80s and sunny. Could moving them around too much make them sick? Did he get some disease I should have treated for? Could it be something he ate? I'm just sick at heart, and terrified of losing my other two Sebastopols.

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
