Please can anyone help with what is wrong with my hen. For a couple of days she has been off it, not interested in food or drink. Yesterday found her sat in coop. Have isolated her. Shes just hunched up, listless - walks around a bit and did a poo like this...

I hate to write this but ime that colour poop with that consistency has meant here that the hen has either reproductive issues, or more often internal organ problems such as cancer.
Poop does change colour and mine when free ranging do often have a green tinge but it's normally fairly solid. The bright greens and bright yellows in poop have always meant serious sickness.
You can try force feeding her. Here is an article on how to go about this.

You could also try feeding her scrambled egg, yogurt with a bit of honey and liquidized fish.
It may also be worth giving a vitamine boost such as Nutri Drench.
I hope I'm wrong. :hugs

Thanks - we have seen her drinking a bit, but just can't tempt her with any food. Have given her water with electrolytes.

I have a hen who wasn’t eating due to a infection above her eye and her poop looked like that. I got her to eat scrambled egg and hard boiled egg and treated the infection and since then her appetite had picked up and the poop is normal again. I think you need to try to figure out what is wrong with your hen first. Does she appear to be egg bound? Have you looked inside her mouth, and all over her body? Have you felt her abdomen?

I am not definite on her age but I think she is about 2.5 years old.

I am fairly sure she isn't egg bound - can't feel anything. Have checked her all over, inside her mouth looks normal. Her beak is a bit of a darker colour to my other hens.

I have no direct advice but will say I have been nursing a sick hen for a week that had the exact same poops and she has started eating, has a mixture of normal and still some green poops, and today did an entire squawk song for me.

She has also just started a molt now. I am hypothesizing and hoping she is a little high maintenance and it’s all related to body stresses with that.

Hoping for the best for you and will be following to see what others say, and hope we can both make it out of the woods.
