Sick hen HELP

She actually ate some scramble eg, and I gave a few pieces of grit. She has been drinking a lot. When she poops, it's a lot do liquid, and a little bit of whitish, yellow almost chalky looking. And a little bit of black stuff. I felt her crop before bed, it was full. This morning, it still feels the same. I can actually feel the grit in there too. I tried massaging it. I have to go to work, but I left her with more egg and water. What can I do for her crop? Give her oil? And how do I do that. Is it impacted. Can a gizzard get impacted? If the crop is impacted it needs to be massaged every few hours, at least when your home. Once things start moving through her give only soft foods, such as cut up grapes, or scrambled eggs. If the crop gets stretched out of shape, you can wrap an elastic bandage around her to compress the crop, and leave the bandage on until the crop starts working again on it's own, and shrinks back to the normal size.

A gizzard can get impacted also, but I have no experience with that.

If her crop is impacted, she should only be given liquids. More food of any type will just continue to keep her impacted.

I soaked her in an Epsom salt bath to relax her. Blowed dried her. I read use olive oil for her crop. I gave it to her soaked on bread. I also messaged her crop. 2 hours later, she pooped yucky yellow liquid. I gave her more olive oil soaked bread, and messaged her crop. It feels much better. I can feel a lot of grit in her crop tho. She didn't eat much soaked bread, but I think enough to help. Should I wait to give her food? I'm thinking if the olive oil works, shouldn't I see some real poop?

Like enola said, giving more food will only make it worse. When you massage the crop that is when you're working the food already in there through her system, so by adding more you just have to work that through also.

The poop won't look normal until all of the old food has been worked out of the crop and she is eating normal. The only way she will get better faster is massaging the crop more, and for at least 10-15 minuets each time.

Four days ago her crop was empty when she first got sick. I would guess that her crop is not impacted, but just slow to empty as it can be when they are ill. I would suspect that she is probably suffering with E,coli infection from egg peritonitis or internal laying, since she was passing yellow droppings in the beginning, but diagnosing chicken illnesses is sometimes guesswork. . A vet could Xray her, and give her strong antibiotics, but you can also order some enrofloxacin or Baytril online.
