I have an 8 month old Colombian Wyandotte that is acting sickly. Yesterday, I noticed she didn’t really want to leave the coop, but I assumed she was wanting to lay, so I left her alone. This morning she was lying in the run. She got up and started eating the kitchen scraps I threw in, but moves very slowly and has a droopy tail. And stops to lie down frequently, and seems to be panting a bit but no wheezing or sneezing. I immediately removed her to a crate and checked her for egg binding, but if that’s the problem, it’s too far inside for me to be able to feel. She did poop when I pulled my finger out and I’ve attached a picture of that. I’m not sure what my next step should be.

It’s not large or hard, but on closer inspection it does feel “watery” as if it has liquid in it. When my husband was hold her with her head slightly down earlier, I did notice some clear liquid dripped from her beak but she had just been drinking so I didn’t think much of it.

Sorry! I'm just seeing this. I'm pretty sure it was sour crop. I withheld food and only gave water with diluted ACV for 24 hours until her crop no longer felt boggy. Then gave her greek yogurt and oregano (antibiotic/antiviral) for another 24 hours and she recovered well.
